Women Beyond Walls believe in the importance of grounding our work in research. Better visibility and transparency on the drivers and outcomes of the over-incarceration of women and girls is vitally important. We also aim to build a better case for support for organisations working on these issues and with women and girls impacted by contact with criminal justice systems.

Penal Reform International and Women Beyond Walls are collaborating to map out the key areas in need of reform related to the criminalisation of women globally due to their poverty and status.
